Your Role:

  • You support the R&D team in identifying new inventions through patentability searches
  • In close collaboration with patent attorneys, you will be responsible for obtaining, enforcing and evaluating IP rights
  • You support the Marketing team to gain freedom to operate for our products
  • You shape the future of Novaled by providing in-depth analyses of patent portfolios in the field of organic electronics

Your Profile:

  • University degree (MSc or PhD) in Chemistry, Physics or related science and at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in organic material and/or organic semiconductor device development
  • Good knowledge of organic chemistry is essential. Basic understanding of semiconductor de-vices is an advantage
  • Excellent technical understanding and analytical skills; interest in patent issues, performing patentability and FTO searches and analyzing relevant technical information
  • Experience in Intellectual Property law (especially European and International Patent law) is an advantage.
  • Excellent pro-active communication skills at all levels with different stakeholders in IP, R&D and Marketing are essential
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as Korean, Chinese or Japanese are an advantage. Basic German is desirable but not essential.
  • User experience with databases (CAS, PatBase, on-line patent registers), MS Office toolset
