Novaled exhibited its latest OLED demonstrators at the Flat Panel Display Yokohama 2009. With a total number of 60.000 visitors this show and conference is one of the key events in the display industry. For the first time the concurrent event 'Green device' took place which covered green technologies like OLED lighting. Beside the Novaled Demonstrators also information on recent developments has been very well received. Concerning demonstrators especially the metal and transparent devices attracted a lot of attention.



In parallel to FPD the Plastic Electronics Europe2009 took place in Dresden, Germany. Novaled supported this event with a plenary talk of Mr. Gildas Sorin (CEO), a technical talk of Dr. Sven Murano (Product Senior Manager) and a booth exhibiting large size and transparent OLEDs.  With over 400 attendees, 30 sponsors and exhibitors, 30 academic posters as well as the presentation of the coveted Plastic Electronics Awards for Innovation, the show provided an important opportunity to meet and discuss collaboration to move the industry forward. The international audience was made up of a blend of experts from both academia and industry meaning the event was a valuable hub where the two disciplines could meet and learn from each other.
